Leg 1: Start of leg GR: SN624077

| From the footpath sign proceed with graveyard wall on the left and over a style. Follow the field boundary on the right through the gate. Turn half left to cross the field diagonally to another gate. Proceed, at right angles to the fence, to the gate and style at the tarmac road ahead. |
Leg 2: Start of leg GR: SN619754

| At the tarmac road turn right and follow the road to the end of the old railway embankment. Turn left through gate and immediately left again through wire to the embankment. this will shortly be reworked to form a multi use track. Continue along the old railway track until a tarmac road is reached near an electricity sub station |
Leg 3: Start of leg GR: SN607757

| At the tarmac road turn right and cross the bridge,then turn right at bridleway sign. Follow track turning left after passing the farmhouse. Continue on track uphill to farm road. Turn left and continue to a minor tarmacced road. Turn left on the road for about 800 yards 750 m.to a right angled left bend. Turn right here through the gate at the bridleway sign. |
Leg 4: Start of leg GR: SN613771

| From the gate follow route with hedge on the left and later fenced each side, past the radio mast to a minor tarmacced road. Continue in the same direction until when going downhill the public house name in New Cross can be seen. Just before the pub see a lane going right. |
Leg 5: Start of leg GR: SN634770

| Proceed along the lane going right until the farm buildings come into sight. Bear right through a gate and follow a footpath, largely over a farm track, down to Glennydd Farm. Immediately after passing the farm house go through the gate on the right and continue along the farm track to a bridge across the river Ystwyth |
Leg 6: Start of leg GR: SN629753

| Cross the bridge and turn right along the old railway track, through the station ruins and the old station yard to a tarmac road. Follow this to return to your start point. |
